THE Lindt Cafe in Sydney’s Martin Place has been targeted by vandals, with rocks thrown at windows.
Several windows have been shattered with large holes visible in the glass. The windows are the same ones hostages during the December 16 siege were forced to stand with an Islamic flag by gunman Man Haron Monis.
A large rock could be seen at the foot of the glass doors to the cafe, which only reopened in March following the deadly siege.

Other rocks can be seen scattered inside.
NSW Police confirmed this morning a man was “assisting them with inquiries”.
The damage is thought to have happened about 12.30am today.
An inquest into the Lindt Cafe siege is currently underway with the background of Monis.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
