Hollywood superstar Zac Efron celebrated his 33rd birthday with a star-studded Aussie affair on Friday night.

A who’s who of homegrown famous faces were photographed arriving at Efron’s beachside pad in Byron Bay on Friday afternoon as the party kicked off ahead of the Baywatch actor’s birthday on Sunday.

Radio host Kyle Sandilands flew north to celebrate with the star, flying in by private jet to Ballina airport with a bevy of beauties, including girlfriend Tegan Kynaston.

Confidential understands the KIIS breakfast host has been in regular contact with Efron, who has been based in Australia since March.

Efron is living in the coastal township with Australian girlfriend Vanessa Valladares, 25, who he met when she worked as a waitress at the Byron Bay General Store.

Byron-based Hemsworth brothers Chris and Liam were on the invite list, but it was their father, Craig, who was spotted clutching a wrapped gift as he arrived at the bash alongside Aussie tennis great Pat Rafter.

The Voice host Renee Bargh was another celeb guest to make the cut. Efron also invited US actor Melissa McCarthy, who is shooting Nine Perfect Strangers in the area with Nicole Kidman and Luke Evans.

Kidman starred alongside Efron in 2012 flick The Paperboy.

While Efron, who rose to international stardom through High School Musical franchise, has mostly been based in northern NSW, he has been spotted in Sydney over recent weeks.

He and Valladares also enjoyed a few days at the snow in Thredbo through winter.
