It’s a tale worthy of its own Hollywood blockbuster. A small town waitress is swept off her feet by a visiting movie star who whisks her from her mundane cafe job into his luxury beachfront home.
Cue a courtship montage of sun-soaked holidays and private vacations before the unlikely pair live happily ever after.
The fairytale ending notwithstanding, it appears to be headed in that direction with US superstar Zac Efron believed to be getting serious with his new Aussie girlfriend Vanessa Valladares.
The pair, who met back in July when Efron visited the cafe where Valladares worked, were spied this week returning from a ski holiday in Thredbo with the couple photographed disembarking from a plane at Ballina.
They then drove back towards Efron‘s adopted home town of Byron Bay — specifically to the nearby hamlet of Belongil where it’s understood he is renting a beachfront property.
It‘s understood Valladares has moved into Efron’s pad and ditched her waitressing job. The budding romance appears to put paid to reports Efron had reunited with his Bad Neighbours co-star Halston Sage.

It also confirms reports Efron had scrapped a planned trip home where he was due to begin filming the Disney remake of the 80s classic Three Men And A Baby in favour of an extended stay in Australia.
The 32-year-old actor is reportedly visiting Australia on a tourist visa which he successfully applied to have expanded recently from three months to one year.
Real estate sources in Byron have also been buzzing with talk the actor is on the lookout for property to purchase while he is here, with plans to make the trendy seaside town his eventual, long-term home.
