Liam Hemsworth’s girlfriend Gabriella Brooks has spoken about the scrutiny that comes with dating one of Australia’s most famous brothers.

She’s the model who stole Liam Hemsworth’s heart after his split from Miley Cyrus and Gabriella Brooks is still adjusting to the scrutiny that comes with dating one of Australia’s most famous brothers.

The Byron Bay bombshell, 23, was a little-known model before she started seeing Hemsworth but her celebrity profile instantly grew after she was photographed with the Hollywood actor in the beach town in 2019.

Since then, she and Liam have been inseparable and she has become a paparazzi target and their relationship has been the subject of tabloid gossip.

Brooks has met the actor’s parents Craig and Leonie and is a regular at family gatherings.

The model was pictured attending Luke Hemsworth’s 40th birthday bash in Byron late last year and has been spotted on various outings with Thor star Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky.

Even though she’s now a global model and a member of Australia’s biggest celebrity clan, she says her own family and friends have helped her stay grounded.

“I have a great support network who continually remind me of what’s important,” she said. “This is incredibly grounding.”

Brooks, who previously dated British rocker Matt Healy, is a former University of Sydney student who studied ancient history and archaeology.

Despite her large social media following, she lives a relatively low-key lifestyle, which is a complete contrast to Hemsworth’s wild ex-wife Cyrus.

One thing that Brooks, who is featured in Seafolly’s new 1989 Bring It Back campaign, does have in common with Cyrus is her body confidence.

“I have been lucky enough to always feel comfortable in my own skin but with age also comes an increased confidence which I’m embracing every step of the way,” she said.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Seafolly for the launch of The Archives 1989 #BringItBack campaign. I really enjoyed embracing the ‘80s beach style and re-creating Seafolly’s iconic heritage campaign with a modern twist.”

While the COVID-19 pandemic has marked a trying time for many celebrity romances, Brooks and Hemsworth are stronger than ever.

She said her biggest lesson from 2020 has been gratitude.

“I never take anything for granted,” she said.
