Hollywood heavyweight Owen Wilson has popped up in Sydney.
The actor, who is in the country filming action-thriller Runner, spent Saturday afternoon at Rainbow Studios in Darlinghurst, much to the surprise of co-founders Jade Gillet and Brent Gold.
The Wedding Crashes actor was reportedly checking out their latest exhibition Head in the Clouds by Papou, a Florida-based artist currently showing at the studio.
Wilson, known for being super down-to-earth and friendly, stayed at the studio for a number of hours and chatted to the owner for over half an hour.
Since opening three years ago, Rainbow Studios has created a hub for the arts, which has focused on highlighting emerging Australian artists.
Wilson is in Australia filming Runner alongside fellow US actor Alan Ritchson.
He arrived Down Under five days ago, attempting to go incognito with an oversized cowboy hat.
The film, which began shooting March 31 in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, follows high-end courier Hank Malone (Ritchson) tasked with delivering a lifesaving organ to a seven-year-old girl.
What begins as a straightforward delivery spirals into danger when outside forces target the precious cargo.
The film comes just weeks after Bear Country, which wrapped production on March 23 also in Queensland, with a star-studded cast including Russell Crowe, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer, Nina Dobrev and Luke Evans.
