Olivia Newton John’s niece Tottie Goldsmith and Tim Olsen, the son of revered painter the late John Olsen, have ended their relationship.

Sunday Confidential revealed the much-loved pair were dating back in July, however the romance has sadly come to an end.

While many were rooting for the relationship to work, the pair recently made the joint decision to part ways.

Close friends say the distance impacted their relationship, with both Goldsmith and Olsen having strong ties to their cities.

“They had a beautiful relationship and still remain close friends,” one source told Sunday Confidential.

The split is one of many high-profile break-ups so far this year. We can also reveal that celebrity trainer Dan Adair has broken up with his long-term partner Chanel Stewart.

Not long after his engagement to bikini model Natalie Roser was called off, Adair was sighted kissing Stewart in 2017. Eight years on, it’s over.

Last week we broke the news that tennis player Nick Kyrgios and his influencer partner Costeen Hatzi had broken up after four years together.

In January, this column revealed that after a 15-year relationship and having their wedding featured in Vogue, top interior stylist Steve Cordony and his husband Michael Booth had ended their marriage.

In February, Confidential revealed high-profile eastern suburbs couple Nicholas and Litsa Stavropoulos had split.

The marriage breakdown caused much chatter in the east, given rumours Nicholas has turned to Litsa’s best friend, Pembe Bekir, for support after the break-up.

Also in February Sydney ‘it’ couple Katie Williams and Georgia Hull announced their shock split just days before their wedding.

The pair, who got engaged in February last year, were scheduled to tie the knot earlier this year in a lavish three-day event at Vaucluse House in Launceston, however it never happened.

We also recently revealed Russian heiress Alina Barlow and her husband Scott had split.

The pair were both regulars on Sydney’s social scene and considered among the wealthiest in the city, however they are now living apart and moving on with their lives separately.

And last, but not least, eight months after debuting their relationship on social media, nude model Dina Broadhurst, 46 and her multi-millionaire Winning Appliances boyfriend John Winning Jr broke up.
