The Wiggles family to grow with Red Wiggle Caterina Mete revealing she’s pregnant with twins

The Wiggly kids are taking over.
From eight Wiggles, there will soon be nine offspring with news red skivvy-wearing Caterina Mete is pregnant with identical twin girls.
Mete is due to give birth to the miracle babies in July.
“Becoming a mother has always been a dream of mine,” Mete said.
“I feel overwhelmingly blessed to share that I am expecting two beautiful little miracles.”
Mete, 43, one of two Red Wiggles alongside Simon Pryce, is single and has been going through IVF for some time with the assistance of an anonymous donor provided by her fertility clinic.
“This journey has been challenging, but filled with so much love and support,” she said.
“I am immensely grateful for the incredible team at my fertility clinic and the technology that has made this possible. I can’t wait to meet my twin girls and embark on this exciting new chapter of my life. I’d also like to thank everyone at The Wiggles for their unwavering support.”
Mete has been with the top Aussie children’s entertainment group for 20 years and became the Red Wiggle in 2021. Then, it was decided to add two Wiggles of each colour.
When her children are born, it will mean the current crew of Wiggles will be parents to nine kids.
Pryce has one son. Lachlan Gillespie is a father of twins and has a third child. Anthony Field has three children, one of whom, Lucia, is his co-Blue Wiggle.
