SAM Perry has two things going for him to break The Voice winner’s curse and make it as a genuine star.

Past winners Karise Eden, Harrison Craig, Anja Nissen, Ellie Drennan, Alfie Arcuri and Judah Kelly haven’t enjoyed lasting success.

But Rowland told The Daily Telegraph she and Perry “are already talking about going into the studio together to put something in motion”. And Perry is confident of a collaboration that would open up some major opportunities.

Perry is determined to launch a global career off the back of the show and sees his looping artistry as key.
“Vocal looping is a new thing, it’s exciting and it’s almost a new genre. I’m proud to bring it to the mainstream of Australia.”
