Elyse Knowles and her boyfriend Josh Barker were yesterday unveiled as two of the latest batch of budding builders hoping to earn a stack of cash on The Block.

Channel 9 will be hoping the appearance of blonde beauty Knowles, who has 600,000 followers on Instagram and has modelled for Billabong, adds a sprinkle of stardust to the show in the fierce fight for viewers.

“My sister said to me, ‘Just one thing, Elyse. If you do get on the show, just don’t do your laugh!’ I sound really bogan,” Knowles said.

The couple will be joined by four other teams when the show airs later this year, with NSW represented by a larrikin duo nicknamed Sticks and Wombat.
