THE Bachelorette Sophie Monk has hit another Bachelorette milestone — filming the show’s commercial.
The singer, actor, television and radio host filmed the TV adverts for the Channel Ten dating show yesterday in Double Bay, along with a cast of excited extras taking part in a flash mob.
“Filming the promo was a lot of fun,” she told Confidential, explaining the concept behind the commercial involves loved-up couples wishing her luck on her own journey to romance.
“It is not every day you get a whole suburb singing and dancing behind you,” she said.
Monk had two outfit changes for the shoot. Early in the day she sported jeans, a white T-shirt and leather jacket before her glam squad stepped-up in the afternoon with a more fabulous red gown.

She is about half way through shooting the show which will premiere later in the year following Matty Johnson’s stint as The Bachelor.
“I have been lucky enough to spend quality time with some amazing men so far,” Monk said of the 15 gents vying for her attention.
“The dates have sometimes taken me out of my comfort zone but knowing one of these great men could be my forever person makes it all worthwhile.”
Monk has been famously unlucky in love. Her former partners have included Hollywood actor Sam Worthington, American singer Benji Madden and footballer Eric Grothe Jr.
“This is different from anything I’ve
ever done before,” Monk recently told Confidential. “I’m so out of my comfort zone. This is not a reality show, it’s real life.
“I’m facing a lot of my fears and learning a lot about myself. This is the most bizarre and fun experience I’ve ever had.”
