Joh Bailey’s texts reveal he did sack employee Tom Cole

JOH Bailey clearly has a selective memory. The ageing socialite hairdresser was backtracking this week after Confidential’s story about his behaviour at a staff member’s Bali wedding.

JOH Bailey clearly has a selective memory.

The ageing socialite hairdresser was backtracking this week after Confidential’s story about his behaviour at a staff member’s Bali wedding.

Bailey, along with his partner and another male companion, attended the wedding of hairdressers Tom Cole and Mariah Rotaat Atas Ombak Villa last month.

Guests observed Bailey arrived late, lit a cigarette when the bride walked down the aisle and sat at the kids’ end of the table.

After the speeches, he pulled the bride aside to give her a serve for not being mentioned enough, which is when the groom and his mother stepped in and asked Bailey and his posse to leave.

But this week Bailey told media he had been “stitched up” and denied he had sacked Cole on the night.

Well, here’s the proof Mr Bailey of the text you sent apologising to the bride: “Maria … I do know how you feel. I cannot say how SORRY I am. I so didn’t mean it. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t mean to sack Tom. I love you guys.

“I unreservedly apologise. I gave you a second chance once. Now I’m asking you to do the same for me. If I could make it all go away I would, but I can’t. I’m so ashamed, can we meet when I get home? I want to talk to both of you? I was horrible & that’s so not me.”
