After skyrocketing to fame on The Bachelor and Bachelorette TV series, Sam Frost admits she still finds some aspects of being in the public eye difficult.

The reality TV star turned radio host, 27, went into meltdown mode on Monday claiming she’d been “heavily trolled” and it was taking a massive toll.

Sam, who co-hosts her 2Day FM breakfast co-host Rove, has been in the public eye for the last two years.

The 2Day FM announcer took to Twitter with an emotional message to haters, telling cyber bullies that they had “won”.

“To the fake accounts heavily trolling me online & into my personal life. If you wanted to break me...Congratulations you have won.”

The post also featured a broken hearted emoji.

While it’s unknown exactly what the nature of the bullying entails, Sam’s outburst was met with overwhelming support from fans.

Kind comments included, “They can’t break you @Sam_Frost... That’s all they want. Dust it off and smile back” as well as “@Sam_Frost HEY YOU! You are strong, smart and beautiful. Do not let faceless cowards get inside your head. Switch off for the night. Xxx.”

Fellow radio hot shot Mel Greig also weighed in on the issue telling Sam she had to be strong for her young fans.

It seems the online abuse has put a dampener on Sam’s romantic Bali getaway with boyfriend Sasha Mielczarek.

For the last week or so the couple have been spotted pool side enjoying a bevy of cocktails while on holiday, but as the saying goes, it seems all good things come to an end, with abusive online attacks snapping Sam back to reality.
