Salim Mehajer has put a Kat among the pigeons: Female partygoers are so much alike
Salim Mehajer had onlookers guessing at the identity of his knockout guest as he threw a 30th birthday for his wife. Because it wasn’t Aysha, or even his sister Aiisha, it was another of his siblings.
SALIM Mehajer clearly has a type — and she’s bronde-haired, almond-eyed, slim-nosed, plump-lipped, round-bottomed and has brows that soar like a charcoaled Emirates contrail.
And, as good fortune and the steady hand of a cosmetic expert might have it, there are at least three women who perfectly match that description in his life — women so alike they had photographers scratching their heads in frustration outside the deposed Auburn deputy mayor’s Lidcombe home on Monday night as they tried to spot his elusive wife.
While the property developer’s social media indicated the night was a 30th birthday party for his bride of eight months, Aysha, yesterday came confirmation Mrs Aysha Mehajer was in fact not at the party. This would indicate rumours the couple have separated, denied by Mehajer, are on the money.
But with four sisters bearing an incredible physical likeness to Aysha, there were enough bronde-haired, almond-eyed, slim-nosed, plump-lipped, round-bottomed Kardashian-lookalikes at the party to send diligent media into meltdown.
One immaculate woman in a sequined gown who was photographed helping Salim move luxury cars in the driveway was initially identified as the birthday girl, Aysha.
On closer inspection it seemed more likely the glamazon was Aysha’s doppelganger and the Auburn councillor’s younger sister Aiisha, a former Miss Personality at the Miss Lebanon Australia whose name his future wife, born April Learmonth, bizarrely adopted before she married the property developer.
Then yesterday came word from Confidential readers and avid Mehajer observers the woman was neither Aysha nor Aiisha, but was in fact an older sister, Khadijeh, known as “Kat”, another dead-ringer.
Like Aysha and Aiisha, Kat looks to have had a glamour makeover, perhaps in preparation, suggest friends, for her forthcoming wedding — another biggie and imminent event on the Mehajer calendar.
Social media posts from the extended Mehajer clan suggest at least five of Salim’s six sisters remain close to Aysha, who sources yesterday claimed had moved out of the Lidcombe home the couple shared “almost a month ago”.
Three weeks ago Aysha joined her lookalike sisters-in-law at a dinner that looked to be a pre-wedding hen’s party for Kat. A party of six women in white including Aysha, Aiisha and Mary, “sisters of honor (sic)” crowded around the bride-to-be Kat (in red) drawing appreciative comments including: “Too much beauty in one picture.”
