SHE might be one of the world’s most recognisable stars, but Rose Byrne’s life in Sydney is refreshingly normal.

The X-Men star is back in the city of her birth with 11-month-old son Rocco while she films the blockbuster movie Peter Rabbit, and is clearly enjoying the quiet life in the Harbour City.

The Bridesmaids star was spotted running errands near her eastern suburbs apartment on the weekend, buying a bulk pack of nappies at a Kings Cross supermarket before visiting a nearby medical centre.

Last month, Byrne spoke of her enthusiasm for the project. The live action and animated movie will also star Margot Robbie and James Corden.

“It is one for Rocco so I’m thrilled and I feel very lucky to be home and working. I’ll be filming Peter Rabbit with my friend (director) Will Gluck, and Domhnall Gleeson is in the cast, which I’m really excited about because I’m a fan,” she explained.
