AUSTRALIA’S newest celebrities, the Real Housewives Of Sydney, could soon be international stars with the show being shopped overseas.
The Aussie production is already set to air in New Zealand and it has been revealed US networks could air the show, which has shocked audiences.
After just six episodes, industry insiders are talking about the buzz around the series.
Foxtel confirmed yesterday the Sydney women will follow their Melbourne counterparts after being picked up in New Zealand.

Pushed on whether there was other international potential, a spokesman said it was a possibility.
One insider said the US market would be a definite option for this branch of the Real Housewives franchise.

“It has flavours of The Real Housewives Of New York and Of Beverly Hills, which are two of the most popular in the franchise,” the insider said.

One insider said the women’s outrageous personalities would captivate worldwide audiences.
“The larger-than-life antics are just too good not to watch,” the insider said.
