Is this the year’s ultimate spotted?
Confidential spies spotted Chris Hemsworth, Matt Damon, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher all dining together on Monday night at Crown Sydney’s Nobu. Oh to be a fly on that table.
The A-list crew were all having dinner at the establishment, no doubt celebrating Baron Cohen’s two Golden Globe wins earlier that day.
He picked up the gong for Best Actor in a musical or comedy for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, which also won Best Comedy.
The famed Japanese restaurant has been the celebrity dining destination since it opened in December.
Reservations are already booked out well into mid-year and the more celebrities that dine there, the longer that waitlist becomes.
The restaurant, as well as the Crown precinct itself, has been popular with Hemsworths.
In January Chris Hemsworth met up with Chris Pratt, who is in town to shoot Thor: Love and Thunder.
Then last week he and wife Elsa Pataky threw a star-studded, 80s-themed party for their friend Aaron Grist in Crown Towers.
Guests in attendance included Kate Ritchie, Matt Damon, Idris Elba and Liam Hemsworth.
Other celebs who have dined at Nobu include Kyle Sandilands and new girlfriend Tegan Kynaston.
Crown Sydney culinary ambassador Guillaume Brahimi said he was not surprised at the appetite for the Japanese eatery, saying it was “world class”.
“I can’t wait for the international borders to open and for my friends from Paris to come and see what we are doing. It will blow their minds,” Mr Brahimi said.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, Damon was seen dining at The Paddington on Oxford St with wife Luciana Barroso.
