Pop princess Kylie Minogue stole the show at fashion’s night of nights, The Fashion Awards, in London on Monday night ahead of her move back to Australia.
The singer hit all the right notes as she took to the stage in a sparkling jumpsuit, surrounded by an army of backup dancers to perform her song Slow at Royal Albert Hall.
The star-studded event, which is hosted by the British Fashion Council, celebrates those who have “created positive change within the fashion industry over the past year”.
Earlier in the night, Minogue, 53, arrived on the red carpet wearing a dazzling teal Alexandre Vauthier gown and black Jimmy Choo heels.
The Spinning Around singer was in high spirits as she danced and laughed with fellow guests in what may have been her last hurrah before she leaves the UK for good.
She recently confirmed that she’s moving back home to Australia to be closer to family after living in England for the past 30 years.
“I have spent a lot of time with my family this year in Australia and it felt really good and I have been talking about that for a while,” she told the BBC last month.
The Masked Singer’s Dannii Minogue, 50, recently said she’s looking forward to having her older sister back on home soil.
“We’ve been so fortunate to have such a great time in London and to be embraced by everybody there, but something kind of special happened this year with Covid and family being back together,” Dannii told ITV’s This Morning.
Former Neighbours star Minogue has been dating British GQ creative director Paul Solomons for three years.
