Ben Fordham has confessed to a “weird” Kylie Minogue bedroom fantasy during a live radio interview with the Australian pop princess.
The 2GB host revealed his long-held secret fantasy on Monday morning, saying it is a “little bit weird.”
“When locomotion first came out we were of a similar age and when it first came out I used to lock myself in my bedroom. I used to put the song on, and I would imagine that I was at a Kylie Minogue concert and some bad person came up on stage and tried to attack you,” he said.
“And I rescued you, I jumped up on the stage and tackled him to the ground because I kind of figured this would be my only way of impressing Kylie Minogue – I’m not joking I played it out in my head hundreds of times.
“I actually played both characters. I played you as Kylie singing with the hairbrush and then I’d wait for a break in the song and I’d play me jumping up on the stage which was my bed to tackle the pillow, which was the bad guy, and try to save you.”
The Spinning Around singer laughed through the anecdote before telling Fordham she had finally found her “hero.”
It comes after Minogue released her fifteenth studio album, Disco.
It the record goes to number one in the UK, her adopted home country, she will become the first female solo act to top the British chart in five consecutive decades.
Her debut album hit number one in 1988.
