Stefanovic went on to become a foreign correspondent for Nine in Los Angeles and London, before returning to the Sydney bureau as a Senior Reporter in mid-2015.
In 2016, he was announced at co-host for Weekend Today alongside Deborah Knight before moving to 60 Minutes filling in for Allison Langdon who was on maternity leave.
He then returned to Weekend Today alongside Langdon at the beginning of 2018.
