AN unprecedented mix of Aussie models are enjoying runaway success on the catwalks and front rows of New York Fashion week.
Fresh from walking the David Jones spring-summer collection catwalk in Sydney just weeks ago, Shanina Shaik owned the Philipp Plein catwalk in a look she dubbed “good girl gone bad,” as US President’s daughter Tiffany Trump sat front row watching on.
Dressed in a pair of barely-there shorts and black thigh garter, Shaik’s edgy outfit was matched with a studded black jacket and an epic hair extension.
Aleyna FitzGerald, the 18-year-old Newcastle teen who won the last season of Australia’s Next Top Model, is on track to become our most successful Australia’s Next Top Model contestant yet.

Making her New York Fashion Week debut, FitzGerald walked for Victoria Beckham on Sunday with David Beckham and eldest son Brooklyn front row, following gigs for designers Jonathan Simkhai and Tadashi Shoji.
Madeline Stuart, the 21-year-old Aussie model with Down syndrome, also walked for six designers including Dexter Simmons, Jessie Liu, and Arzamendi Style.
Off the catwalk, Myer model Chantal Monaghan attended the V x Maybelline party in a sportsluxe outfit — a crop top and track pants.
