Sidelined from the game, NRL superstar Nathan Cleary looks to be pursuing another passion.

The son of Penrith coach Ivan Cleary was snapped enjoying an intimate dinner with a female companion on Monday night.

The 24-year-old Panthers halfback is on the bench after receiving a five-match ban for a dangerous throw on Parramatta five-eighth Dylan Brown in his side’s 34-10 loss at the weekend.

The mystery woman is understood to be Pilates instructor Teah Foot.

Friends say Cleary has been seeing Ms Foot “on and off” for several months.

He and Ms Foot follow each other on social media, where she has posted photos of a studio at her work, Peaches Pilates. The footballer would not comment when asked about the ‘date’ after training in Penrith yesterday.

He appeared smitten as he enjoyed the company of Ms Foot at Coogee’s Spice Thai restaurant.

Cleary has usually been private about his love life. He once dated Sarah Karaoglu, who’s now in a relationship with Eel Bailey Simonsson.

The Panther kept it casual, wearing bright print shorts, a black hoodie and socks with slides while his female companion opted for light blue jeans, a brown top and a fawn trench coat. The pair looked to share dishes and washed their meal down with a bottle of table water.
