Canberra Raiders WAGS: The Wives and Girlfriends of the 2021 Squad

These are the strong women behind the Canberra Raiders - supporting the current squad whilst forging their own way in business, fashion design and as advocates for indigenous people.

Australia's Top 100 WAGs Powerlist

While everyone knows of the players for the Canberra Raiders, not everyone is aware of their incredible partners, who are making waves and carving out just as exceptional careers in business, home and on social media.

Monisha Lew Fatt, partner of Jack Wighton

Jack Wighton’s partner Monisha Lew Fatt is everything you think of when you hear the word “superwoman”.

She’s a mother of three to Aaliyah Ariah and Kayce. She owns a successful luxe balloon business and is an executive district manager for Arbonne Australia New Zealand, a plant-based beauty line.

The Monisha got engaged to Jack Wighton in January this year and the photos gave us all butterflies.

Sarah Karaoglu, partner of Bailey Simonsonn

Bailey Simonsonn’s partner is the full package. She’s smart, beautiful and well travelled.

A UTS graduate, she got her Bachelor’s in 2019.

Prior to Covid lockdowns, she had quite an impressive travel portfolio, including: Ibiza, Hawaii and London.

The couple celebrated their first anniversary in August 2020.

They’ve followed up with cute photos ever since, like this retro pic on New Year’s Eve.

And this snuggled up shot from May.

With their second anniversary coming up, their followers are sure to be anticipating another adorable tribute post soon.

Nicky Davies, partner of Darby Medlyn

This WAG has a real interest in sport herself, indicated her Instagram page.

Darby Medlyn made his debut on her feed in 2016 and has been a constant theme ever since.

The pair have gone on trips and adventures together, stood strong during training and games and are often seen goofing around and having a fabulous time.

Ana James, partner of Ryan James

This extremely photogenic family was last seen online celebrating Ana’s 30th birthday.

They also like to partake in fancy dress up occasionally and they completely slay when they do.

Prior to lockdown, you could always count on Ryan and Ana to look fabulous for the camera.

It’s no wonder that they know how to work the camera when it turns out that Ana is used to using a camera quite often for her food photography and styling page.

Loretta Havili, partner of Silivia Havili

It’s not hard to see how wrapped this Canberra Raiders hooker is with his partner and kids. Siliva and his other half, Loretta, have two gorgeous daughters together – Mausia and Elliora.

They recently celebrated their younger daughter’s baptism in June of this year.

The Havilis stole our hearts with this family photo from Christmas 2019.

We can’t wait to see an updated family portrait this upcoming Christmas.

Alexis Chappel, fiance of Charnie Nicoll-Klockstad

Newly engaged fullback, Charnze Nicoll-Kolkstad, has been gushing about his fiance, Alexis Chappel, on Instagram since the proposal.

So much so that he posted the proposal and a follow up post a week later to let his followers know that he’s still on cloud 9 and riding the wave of the newly engaged life.

They made themselves Instagram official in March this year and the fullback has been posting couple pics ever since.

Chelsea Balzan, partner of Tom Starling

Tom Starling and Chelsea Balzan have been together for just over a year and we’re already in love with their posts.

A constant support for her partner, Chelsea can be seen cheering Tom on from the sidelines of the field – as well as online.

Karlee Doig, partner of Brad Schneider

Having graduated high school in 2018, Karlee Doig has kept her social media on the DL while dating the Canberra Raiders halfback.

While Brad Schneider posts about her regularly, and keeps her in his bio next to a cute ring emoji, she doesn’t have much of a public online presence.

These two seem to have been high school sweethearts and have been together ever since, with a string of photos showing all their outings together.

Vi Aekins, wife of Calevb Aekins

Caleb Aekins and wife, Vi, just welcomed their son, Nixon, into the world in February 2020.

The couple got engaged in 2018.

Not much is known about Veezy, who goes by @vaotupuaekins on Instagram but one thing’s for sure, they make a gorgeous couple and an even more gorgeous family.

Rina Lui, parter of Dunamis Lui

Raider’s Prop – Dunamis Lui – and his other half, Ring, are often seen working out together.

They have also been spotted going on adorable family dates.

And, as recently as January 2021, welcomed a new bub into their family by the name of Kolbe-Rosally Lui.

They feature family photos a fair bit on Dunamis’ page, so we look forward to seeing an updated family portrait with the new baby in it.

Ellier Haseler, partner of Clay Webb

This girl from Gunadoo has a smile that could like up a whole room so it’s no surprise that the 20-year-old has captivated the heart of the Raider’s second rower, Clay Webb.

The couple were also seen completing their formalities for 2020 and if that doesn’t scream goals, we don’t know what does.

Kelsey Rapana, wife of Jordan Rapana

Kelsey and Jordan Rapana welcomed their bub, Taniora Karewa Kopp Rapana, into the world in October last year.

The pair tied the knot in 2019.

Kelsey is another WAG who likes to keep her life low key on the internet so we don’t know much about her but are hoping to see a family photo pop up on our feeds soon!

Claire Roberts, partner of Matt Frawley

Terrigal local, Claire Roberts, has been dating five-eighth Matt Frawley since 2019. She made her debut on his Instagram in June 2019.

Since then, the pair have been spotted on double dates in Manly, prior to lockdown and on the sidelines of training and games.

Gemmah Soliola, partner of Iosia Soliola

Last seen in Valhalla, Iosia and Gemmah Soliola were seen posing in front of a picture wall for an NRL event.

Without revealing too much about their private lives on the ‘Gram, the last we saw of Gemmah publicly was this adorable shout out on Mother’s Day.

Brooke May, partner of Sebastian Kris

One of the most private couples on the Raiders team, these two keep each other‘s names in their bios but haven’t posted much publicly about each other.

The last we saw of Sebastian Kris and Brooke May online was January this year with photos celebrating the introduction of 2021.

Brittney Crocker, wife of Jarrod Crocker

Brittney Crocker is married to the captain of the Canberra Raiders, Jarrod Crocker who plays centre for the team.

Brittney has been dating Jarrod for thirteen years; they both met in their hometown of Goulburn.

Brittney owns her own beauty business in Canberra, which she has successfully operated for the past seven years.

The couple are new parents, after they welcomed their first baby, Rory, into the world in June last year.

Brittney is very into her fitness, and daily she will either be out walking the dogs, at the gym or even playing basketball.

Kirstin Tapine, wife of Joseph Tapine

Business woman, artist and indigenous advocate, meet the proud Gamilaroi Yuwaalaraay woman, Kirsten Tapine who is married to second row, Joseph Tapine.

Kirsten graduated in 2018 with a double degree in Commerce and Information Technology from The University of Canberra (UC) in 2018.

Kirsten has worked with Widening Participation at UC – where she was working with disadvantaged students, showing them the pathways to university were an option.

While studying at UC Kirsten became part of their graduate program before taking on a full-time role as a business manager at The Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership and Strategy.

In her role, Kirsten has recently developed, designed and worked on a project, ‘Yarning About’ which is a series created by the University’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students where they discuss Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, people and the issues impacting them.

Kate Ford, partner of Ryan Sutton

Meet Kate Ford, a fashion designer for her own brand ‘Kate Ford’, partner of Ryan Sutton who plays prop for the Raiders.

Kate has an impressive background in fashion and design, having studied at the prestigious fashion school The Whitehouse Institute of Design.

Kate currently works as a fashion business eacher at Orana Fashion Business College and has worked in the design room of some of Australia’s best brands including General Pants, Camilla and Zimmermann.
