Myer confirms Jodi Anasta, Kris Smith and Rachael Finch signed on for another year

MYER’S celebrity stable is safe for another year with the department store renewing the contracts of three of its ambassadors.

MYER’S celebrity stable is safe for another year with the department store renewing the contracts of three of its ambassadors.

The company has confirmed Jodi Anasta, Kris Smith and Rachael Finch have all been signed on as part of the “Myer family” for another 12 months.

The news follows Kate Peck’s ousting from the department store last month, with management not renewing her contract after reportedly deciding her edgy look did not fit with the store’s image.

Anasta, Smith and Finch’s more commercial looks are understood to be more in line with Myer’s new direction, which will be showcased next week at its Autumn-Winter 2016 presentation.

Myer face Jennifer Hawkins, who signed with the store a decade ago, is under contract until the end of the year.

“All have a keen interest in both fashion and racing, and combined with their talent and experience, they are each the perfect fit to continue to represent the Myer brand alongside our Face of Myer, Jennifer Hawkins,” the store’s deputy CEO Daniel Bracken said.

The announcement put paid to talk last year that Myer was considering ending its seven-year relationship with Smith, 37. He said he was “proud to be on the team for another year”.

Anasta and Finch will attend the store’s black tie fashion event next week at Barangaroo Reserve. However, Smith will be notably absent due to a scheduling conflict.
