HE charmed audiences, and nearly Georgia Love, on The Bachelorette but audiences will see a racier side to Matty J. Johnson when his season of The Bachelor airs.

While production on the show has wrapped, an insider has revealed to Confidential that the connections Johnson made with some of the women were intense.

“(The women) haven’t held back with the intimacy and the kissing ... the chemistry sizzles between Matty and certain girls,” they said.

Another source told Confidential that like his own slow-burning relationship with Love, Johnson has been taken aback by the bond he’s developed with some contestants.

“As expected, some Bachelorettes caught his eye immediately, and there have been a couple of others where their relationship has been a slow burn, and he’s been surprised by their strong connection,” the source said, shutting down reports that Johnson was unhappy with the women cast.

It’s not yet known if the handsome 29-year-old marketing director went further than just kissing with any of the ladies.

However, while their US counterparts haven’t been afraid to get down and dirty during filming, the Australia version of the show has been a lot more family friendly.

The first Bachelor Tim Robards has said how he set the trend for his fellow Bachelors by abstaining from having an overnight date, away from the cameras.

“I think I did the guys in because I was the first one to say ‘no overnight dates’ and they followed suit so I think I’ve screwed it up for everyone,” he said.

“As a guy you have those urges — three months of no sex — but you’ve just got to think with your brain and your heart a little more and exercise some control.”

Despite being dubbed the “best bachelor yet”, a fellow Bachelorette contestant told Confidential that Johnson’s new-found fame has gone to his head.
