EASTERN suburbs women accused of being money-hungry fame-hunters, keen to score a footballer have called foul on the claim.
Married At First Sight contestant and tradie Ryan Gallagher, 29, from Sydney’s eastern beachside suburb of Maroubra, told The Daily Telegraph he struggled for dates because of his job.
“In the eastern suburbs, every chick is sort of chasing footballers or chasing money and it’s all about that,” Gallagher, who first appears on the Channel 9 show tonight, said. “I see straight through that shit.
“I know what people are like and I haven’t come across anyone in three years that is someone for me.
“I want to find a woman not looking for fame.”

But eastern suburbs cousins Georgina and Sabrina said Gallagher’s claim was off-side.
“As long as someone is a genuine, loyal and caring guy that’s all I care about,” Georgina said. And Sabrina agreed.
“Just someone with a good sense of humour you can have fun with. That’s what’s important,” she said.
