The popular reality format matches unlucky in love singles in marriage (not officially) then gives them time to get to know each other and decide whether they want to stay together in real life.
But with “partner swapping” one of the more scandalous incidents according to the source, the chances of any of this year’s participants finding lasting love look slim.
“It was keys in the bowl kind of stuff,” the source said. “They were right at it from the get-go. It was so trashy, everyone hated working on it.”

The show has been a ratings hit for Channel Nine with last year’s contestant Cheryl swapping husbands during the season when her initial partnership with Jonathon fell flat. She then teamed up with Andrew ‘Jonesy’ Jones, although that didn’t work out in the end either.
Given the lowbrow nature of the show, Channel Nine is understood to be unconcerned about the antics of this year’s batch.
“This year completely ups the ante,” the source said.
