The most-watched man in the world right now has been spotted wearing an Australian designer just weeks after his first trip Down Under.
Travis Kelce, the beau of pop superstar Taylor Swift, this week stepped out in Song for the Mute as he supported brother Jason Kelce as Jason announced his retirement from football.
Song for the Mute was born and bred here in Sydney, and opened its flagship store in the heart of the CBD last year.
Wearing a $695 shirt from the current collection, all eyes were on Kelce as he sat front row while his brother announced his tearful departure from the NFL.
Despite spending just two days in Sydney during Swift’s Era’s Tour last month, it appears Sydney’s streetstyle left a lasting mark on the 34-year-old.
Swift also appears to be an Australian fashion fan – she was spotted wearing a $650 crocheted Dion Lee corset at this year’s Super Bowl. With Swift’s influence, the corset top became a hit – selling out overnight.
Just days after Kelce was pictured in Song for the Mute – Nick Jonas followed suit, donning a jacket from the label during the Brisbane leg of the Jonas Brothers’ first ever Australian tour.
Nick wore the $1500 jacket from the brand’s most current collection, sharing a picture of his outfit to his 35 million fans on Instagram.
Founded in 2010 by lifelong friends Lyna Ty and Melvin Tanaya, the brand is a favourite among footballers, doctors, architects, artists and fashion lovers.
So much so that seven customers have their brand name tattooed on their bodies.
Song for the Mute is stocked by some of the world’s top high-fashion retailers, including Leclaireur in Paris, Selfridges in London and online luxury emporium SSENSE.
