CONTROVERSIAL reality star Lisa Oldfield has been caught on camera calling her young son a “d***head”.
The Daily Telegraph can reveal that the wife of former One Nation politician David Oldfield threatened to call in lawyers in an attempt to censor the new Foxtel series, The Real Housewives Of Sydney, which debuted last night.
An insider close to the production said that Oldfield was worried about how her parenting style would come across on TV.
“Lisa is worried that she was swearing at and around her kids a lot,” the insider said yesterday.
“She gets pretty candid and takes her walls down. The first episode is just a taste.”
Oldfield yesterday confirmed she had requested changes to the show.
“Yes, I asked, but I politely got told to get knotted,” she told The Daily Telegraph.
“But I am not the only one who asked for changes — I think nearly every woman wanted something to be cut.
“I don’t get any special treatment, nor do any of the other ladies.”
Oldfield stole last night’s first episode with her sharp tongue, calling her husband a “c***” and taking jabs at her castmates. She also swears at her young children, calling one “d***head” to his face, in future episodes.
Last night’s first episode also featured Oldfield having cosmetic surgery on camera.
While Oldfield said that she was pleased with how the first episode turned out, she was concerned about how viewers would react.
Some castmates were reportedly shocked by some of the scenes with Oldfield’s family when they viewed advanced screenings last week.
Yesterday, Oldfield talked down her swearing but admitted she regrets airing dirty laundry about her marriage.
The inside source said Oldfield was not alone in requesting edits be made after seeing the show. The source said Krissy Marsh requested that discussions about her sex life be censored while Nicole O’Neil had requested comments about the class system be cut.
“Nicole wanted a scene where she talks about walking her children into economy in the plane to show ‘the poor people’ removed,” the insider said.
“Krissy regretted talking about her and her husband’s sex life.”
The Real Housewives Of Sydney continues on Foxtel’s Arena on Sunday.
