Radio host Kyle Sandilands and his pregnant fiancée Tegan Kynaston will host a lavish gender reveal aboard a luxury superyacht this week.
The KIIS star, 50, has spared no expense for the event, which will be held on Friday with celebrity guests including his co-host Jackie O Henderson set to attend.
Sandilands has hired the same $4000-per-hour Oneworld superyacht that he used for his star-studded 50th birthday bash last year along with fighter planes which will drop pink or blue coloured smoke across Sydney Harbour.
“Jackie had the idea of dropping coloured smoke out of the a** of a plane, big time, so everyone in Sydney can see it,” Sandilands said on the Kyle and Jackie O show on Monday.
“A proper fighter plane over Sydney. This has never been done before.”
“It’s very costly too. Jackie’s ideas are always the best ideas but super expensive.”
Sandilands announced he is expecting his first child with Kynaston, communications director, 35, last week following their engagement last month.
He said while they are hoping for a girl, they are happy regardless.
“I’d love either one, I’d just prefer a girl but if it’s blue it’s blue,” he said.
Sandilands split from Big Brother VIP’s Imogen Anthony in 2019 and began dating Kynaston shortly after.
“I wish them nothing but love and happiness,” Anthony wrote on Instagram after the pregnancy announcement.
“Kids were something I was no where (sic) near ready for, still not, and like stated, for me to have done that would have needed to be first priority, and work will always be number one priority to (Kyle).
“But i hope things change for him, as i know that all Kyle has ever wanted was to reflect something he never had, a home that isn’t broken. I just wish he could have been more honest with me ... in the lead up to this, as we’ve still been trying to ‘settle’ so I can move forward with my own life to, which in my opinion, hasn’t been fair... (sic).”
