Karl Stefanovic and family back in Noosa: No Michael Clarke, no Jade, no dramas

Just months after a Noosa family holiday spectacularly imploded with a messy fight between Michael Clarke and Jade Yarbrough, Karl Stefanovic and his family are enjoying a more relaxed seaside sojourn.

No Michael Clarke. No Jade Yarbrough. No beef.

Karl Stefanovic appeared relaxed and happy as he soaked up the sun in Noosa over the weekend.

Snapped at the beach with wife Jasmine and young daughter, Harper, the couple didn’t show any sign of angst following theJanuary blow up that made headlines across the country.

Then, former Australian cricket captain Clarke was embroiled in a heated argument with girlfriend at the time, Jade Yarbrough, sister of Jasmine and sister-in-law of Stefanovic.

News Corp revealed Clarke and Stefanovic had squared off in a wild fracas in a public park, which culminated in Clarke being slapped across the face by Jade, and accused of cheating.

The scandal is understood to have ended the friendship of many years between Stefanovic and Clarke, who himself was spotted partying on a superyacht with a bevy of beauties on Sydney Harbour at the weekend.

Stefanovic looked fit as he was photographed throwing a footy on the beach, and later, fishing after spending time with his family.

On Thursday, he raised eyebrows co-hosting his Today breakfast show as he told viewers he was heading back to Noosa for the long weekend.

As he interviewed Tourism & Transport boss Margy Osmond, she asked what he was doing for the holiday.

“Going to Noosa,” he said.

The comment prompted Osmond to offer a cheeky response: “What could go wrong?” That was an obvious reference to the Noosa park brawl involving Stefanovic and Clarke.

Stefanovic was speechless and said simply: “Fair point”.

His co-host Sarah Abo also had a small crack.

“Oh yes, what could go wrong Karl?”

The comments come after a family holiday to Noosa in January blew up in spectacular fashion, with Clarke accused by then-girlfriend Jade of cheating on her with his ex, fashionista Pip Edwards.
