AUSSIE actor Jessica Marais has laughed off gossip mag suggestions she’s having a love affair with former NIDA classmate Shannon Dooley.
The Wrong Girl star has told friends she and Dooley are simply close gal pals and not in a relationship after they were photographed frolicking at Bondi Beach amid reports suggesting they were dating.
“They were just being silly, having fun at the beach, that is what friends do,” a source close to the pair said. “They are 100 per cent not dating.”
Dooley and Marais were in the same acting class at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2007, alongside Hugh Sheridan.
While Marais and Sheridan have gone on to mainstream success on Australian TV, Dooley runs the local Retrosweat freestyle aerobics business.
In addition to the paparazzi images, rumours were sparked off the back of Instagram posts over the past week. “True love,” Dooley wrote of a shot with Marais and Sheridan.
Marais has a daughter, Scout, 4, with former fiance James Stewart.
