Jesinta Franklin spent 12 days apart from Buddy Franklin to make sure he wouldn’t get sick

Model Jesinta Franklin was forced to spend almost two weeks apart from hubby Lance “Buddy” Franklin, in a spare bedroom, after getting sick. She feared she would spread it to the whole Sydney Swans team.

Stepping out with a “little flu”, model and TV presenter Jesinta Franklin said she needs to be careful to make sure she doesn’t infect Sydney Swans footy star hubby, Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin.

“There was a time earlier this year that I was very unwell and I slept in the spare room for 12 nights straight,” she told Confidential.

“I think that was the longest we’ve ever spent apart. I was in the spare room but that was from my own admission because I wanted to make sure he didn’t get unwell as there is a risk of him getting the entire team unwell as well. I am nowhere near as bad as that now, it is just a little flu.”

Franklin made the comments as she donned a baby pink Alex Perry gown to celebrate Moet & Chandon Imperial’s 150th anniversary over dinner at the Sydney Town Hall on Tuesday night.

“I actually feel like a princess in this dress,” she said. “It is always nice to wear a splash of colour, especially in winter.”
