HELLOOOOO Jerry! It was classic Jerry Seinfeld as the veteran comedian touched down in Sydney yesterday — not that there’s anything wrong with that — ahead of his sell out show.

It was classic Jerry Seinfeld when the veteran comedian and sitcom star hit Sydney yesterday. Rocking his trademark white-sneakers-and-jeans look the US star made famous on his namesake hit series, Seinfeld was all smiles as he strolled around Sydney Olympic Park with a pal ahead of his two shows in the Harbour City.

The man who created iconic pop-culture references such as the “close talker”, “baldist” and made the puffy pirate-inspired shirt famous is back in Australia for the first time in 19 years.

And anxious last-minute ticket-buyers copped a refrain similar to that usually served up by the show’s ever-popular Soup Nazi: “No tickets for you!”

The Daily Telegraph understands this was the on-stage dress.

Seinfeld’s Sydney show is sold out.

Despite both shows selling out in no time, promoter Paul Dainty said Sydneysiders were still calling up begging for tickets.

Seinfeld performed to a sold-out crowd at Qudos Bank Arena Thursday night and will back it up again tonight at the ICC Theatre in Darling Harbour.

The 63-year-old has been working non-stop since arriving in Australia, performing every night since arriving on the weekend.
