Which is it Indy? Good skin or bad skin?
Influencer Indy Clinton had Sydney Confidential a little confused when we stumbled across her Instagram this week.
The blogger, who according to her management launched “to Instagram fame” in 2014, posted a series of odd stories to her profile on Tuesday.
In one, the 22-year-old called out for “any dermatologists or doctors who follow me” for help with her skin, saying she was “desperate” for assistance.
Moments later, she clarified her “skin post”.
“My body has broken out in crazy rashes, started about a month ago and has progressively gotten worse,” she wrote.
“The doctor said it was called ‘pityriasis rosea’ and I was given steroid cream to help it. Although nothing seems to be working. The itch is unbearable. Let me know if you have had anything similar, would love to know if any home remedies cure it.”
Call Confidential strange but our advice for any medical issue would be to seek further assistance from a doctor but hey, it is the new world of Insta fame.
An hour later though, Clinton was spruiking microdermabrasion skin treatments and peels at a local clinic, offering her 119,000 followers a discount on treatments.
“I have been getting my skin done for months. My face has never GLOWED so much and has been cleared of little breakouts,” she wrote, adding in a subsequent post: “You will not regret — glow up foooooo realllll.”
When contacted for clarification, Clinton said: “I was asking for help with my body skin, not my face skin”.
