HOLLYWOOD’S most enviable bromance has snuck into Australia, with Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon spending time together in northern New South Wales.
Confidential can reveal the Oscar winner, who is based in his native US, is hiding out at Hemsworth’s Byron Bay hinterland property along with his kids.
While the pair are trying to keep their travels off the radar, they’re certainly not slumming it.
The pals — who are collectively worth an eye-watering $230 million — have been flying in aircraft from Avmin Air Charter Specialists and driving luxury cars.
Avmin CEO Paul O’Brien, who has gone from contractor to Hemsworth confidant in the years he’s been working with the family, had the famous friends in caps promoting his workplace mental health venture MateCheck.
While the modern men are living it up in the Australian autumn with Damon’s three kids in tow, their wives are partying in New York on a girls’ trip.

“So happy to share this great moment with my favourite girls and best mums in the world!” Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky wrote on a picture of a group including Damon’s wife Luciana Barroso at the New York premiere of her latest film, Fast And Furious 8.
Damon’s friendship with Hemsworth, 13 years his junior, is well established.
They are often spotted on double dates with their wives, and a Hemsworth profile in GQ in 2014 saw the Thor star borrow two bikes from the Good Will Hunting star.
“We became friends around the time I started to work, and I’ve really benefited from watching how he handles himself,” Hemsworth said.
“Matt’s just a normal guy who has the movie-star thing figured out.”
