Ex-wife of James Packer Erica Packer hits Bondi Beach with kids

James Packer’s ex Erica has kept a low profile in the years since becoming a mother, but has been snapped taking the kids out for a day at the beach.

The ex-wife of billionaire James Packer has enjoyed a rare moment of Sydney sunshine, flying home with her three children.

Sporting a brace on her ankle, Erica Packer, along with children Indigo, 13, Jackson, 12, and Emmanuelle, 9, were snapped in a rare photograph of the family at iconic Bondi Beach on Tuesday afternoon before the city was smashed by more rain.

Packer, who was married to the son of late media mogul Kerry Packer from 2007 to 2013, is has not been home to Australia from her Malibu farm base since the global pandemic struck two years ago.

She is understood to have flown in last month to attend the funeral of Australian cricket great, Shane Warne, after his shock death in Thailand at the age of 52 from a heart attack on March 4.

Former singer and model Packer, nee Baxter, has kept a low profile in the years since becoming a mother, shunning the spotlight for privacy with her kids.

In a rare interview and photo shoot, the 44-year-old appeared with the three children on the cover of Vogue Australia last year.

“It will be fascinating to see what they each become and do in life,” she said in the article. “Through lockdowns we ended each day, just us, sitting at a table in our kitchen eating dinner and discussing, laughing, sometimes crying, but always celebrating our successes and defeats as a family. And then there are the TikToks and regular themed dance parties, a lot of board games and cards, and lucky for us, sometimes horseriding.”
