The 35-year-old and fiance Sean Ogilvy welcomed their little bundle last Wednesday — on the day of NSW’s successful State of Origin series opener.

The couple announced the arrival of their daughter Eliza hours after the birth on the morning of the big game.

The Daily Telegraph has obtained the first photo of the mum and bub, pictured in a Sydney carpark leaving Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick.

Yesterday a spokeswoman for Channel 9 told The Daily Telegraph that Erin was resting and spending time with her baby.

“Everyone at Nine is so happy for Erin and Sean as they welcome Eliza to their family,” the spokesman said.

“We wish them well as they embark on the next stage of life together,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

It hadn’t been an easy pregnancy for the TV host who collapsed while she was at work and was rushed to hospital in an ambulance at 25 weeks pregnant.

The Channel 9 reporter also said she had suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, which is an extreme case of pregnancy-related morning sickness.

“It’s been horrendous but I feel horrendously guilty even talking about it, because I know how blessed I am to even have children — but it’s been awful,” she added.

Molan was reportedly due in July, so baby Eliza may have arrived a few weeks ahead of time.
