Love Island’s Cassidy abandons no sex on TV promise

Three weeks ago, Love Island contestant Cassidy McGill told Confidential she would “restrain” herself from having sex on national television. That all changed last night.

AFTER less than three weeks on Love Island, Cassidy McGill looks ready to abandon her promise to herself not to have sex on national television.

Prior to going on the Big Brother-style show that is based in Majorca, Spain, the 23-year-old vowed to Confidential she would do her best to avoid having sex with any of the male suitors on the controversial reality dating show.

“Myself personally I would like to try and restrain myself. Good things come to those who wait but you never know in the moment,” she said, while keeping her options open. “If it feels right, I will do it. I am not going to say no because if I do say no I will probably end up having sex on the show.”

Last night, McGill declared she would like to take her relationship to the next level with her partner on the show, 25-year-old Josh Moss.

“I would in the Hideaway,” she told fellow contestant Erin Barnett when asked if she’d f*** Moss.

McGill spent the first week and a bit on the show loved up with electrician Grant Crapp, who dumped her to date beauty queen Tayla Damir.

“I can tell that it is different already (with Moss) because with Grant I was always like hmmmm, whereas with Josh I’d be open to it, I am very open to it. I hope he has got some moves.”

Cassidy told Erin she probably would sleep with Josh.

Later, she told producers: “I don’t know what it is about him but he’s just got this beautiful nature that just calms me down and I just trust him with my life. I trust Josh more than anyone in here.”

To throw a further spanner in the works though, McGill has expressed her interest in exploring a connection with new housemate, Dom Thomas.

“The spark isn’t there (with Josh),” she told model contestant Justin Lacko. “I have had to ask him every time for a kiss. The kind of man that I look for is a man that I want to take control in the bedroom and take from me what he wants. Lady in the streets, freak in the sheets sort of thing.”

Meanwhile, Natasha Webster was voted off the dating show on Sunday night. Speaking to Confidential, she revealed two of her fellow housemates had been having sex in the room where all the contestants sleep.

While the adults-only content has only been alluded to on air, Webster said it is common knowledge that it involves Barnett and her reality TV beau, prison officer Eden Dally.

“Erin and Eden have had sex in the villa,” Webster told Confidential. “They high-five each other after and do a big thumbs-up. Everybody knows when it is going to happen. It hasn’t happened every night, though. By the way, they wouldn’t mind me saying that, they are pretty open about it all.”
