Dr Kate Adams still on the hunt for her dream man

Calling all eligible bachelors, here’s what Real Housewife of Sydney Kate Adams is looking for in a man: passion, fun, intelligence, and preferrably height. “No craxy ex-wives,” and “children that are old enough to dress themselves”.

Real Housewife of Sydney Dr Kate Adams' "horrific" blind date

Real Housewife of Sydney Dr Kate Adams exclusively told The Daily Telegraph that despite all the dating misadventures currently playing out on the Binge reality series, she is single and still very much looking for her dream man.

“I’m looking for a man who is passionate and fun,” she said.

The owner of Bondi Vet Hospital admitted the “horrific” blind date she went on in episode two was set up by a producer.

“I had a million Bumble matches set up to go on a date and when I said ‘by the way there will be cameras there’, everyone pulled out. But I wanted it to be real,” Adams said.

“The producers found a friend of a friend, and they said he’s wanted to meet you for a while. He looks okay, would you do it?”

The date doesn’t last long after the potential suitor asked Adams whether she’s heard of controversial men’s rights activist Joe Rogan, and said he takes ice baths “to control his inner b---h”.

“I don’t think anyone expected what happened and I didn’t realise that my face showed so much,” she said. “I couldn’t think of how to get out of it except to say I had to feed my cat.”

Despite the “hard knock” world of Sydney’s dating scene, Adams said she believes “it’s a numbers game and you can never give up.”

“A lot of people say to me, he will come when you stop looking. And I think oh f**k off, if you don’t look, you won’t find.”

So, what is she looking for?

“The biggest thing for me is somebody that is brave and a risk taker. I once dated this man who said to me, ‘you have enough money that you could just not work’. I said we have to break up.”

As a self-made woman, Adams said she needs a man who is equally passionate about what he does in life, who can respect that her home may often look like an animal refuge. Liking animals is a must.

“Someone who is self-made is a big tick. They have to be intelligent and that doesn’t mean book smart, but be able to hold a good conversation,” she added.

Adams isn’t fussed about where a man comes from, or whether he’s been divorced.

“No crazy ex-wives though, please.”

“I do try and date men who have children that are old enough to at least put on their own clothes, because trying to find babysitters on Saturday night limits my freedom. But if I found the perfect man who had a two-year-old, I’d still probably date him.”

As for looks, someone that can match her height would be an added bonus.
