Don’t expect this Eastern Suburbs beauty to star on the Real Housewives anytime soon
She’s the real deal – a true Real Housewives of Sydney, however, you won’t catch lawyer-turned-actor Natassia Halabi on the reality TV show.

She has been touted by those who know her as the “New Queen of the East”, while her fiance has been turning heads in Bondi, driving his 2-year-old daughter to daycare in a $1 million Ferrari.
Meet actor Natassia Halabi and resource industry entrepreneur and corporate finance specialist Tolga Kumova.
The pair, who have recently moved from LA to Melbourne before ending up in Bondi, are the Eastern Suburbs’ newest wealthy recruits.
So you’d think Halabi, who was a lawyer before becoming an actor, would be a top pick for The Real Housewives of Sydney franchise, however, the mother of one says she’s too busy and claims the show’s “not for me”.
“No, it’s absolutely not for me,” she said when asked if she would like to be cast in the show.
“I don’t know whether they are lacking personality or just think its entertaining to be mean to one another, its not for me.
“My text message exchanges between myself and my friends is funnier.”
Halabi has featured alongside Ethan Hawke, Kaitlyn Dever ad Chris O’Donnell in recent years in shows including NCIS: Los Angeles and most recently finished up filming for Neighbours, which was this week axed again.
“I’ve finished filming Neighbours, I’ve had a small role in Apple Cider Vinegar which just came out,” she said.
“I write scripts and I’ve been working in the writers’ room helping develop an ABC show. I’ve got a great literary agent who represents all the best Australian writers so I’m actually working on a few TV shows. So I’ve got other things going on which I am loving.”
Halabi and Kumova recently moved into the same apartment block where Hugh Jackman has property – paying a rumoured $7500 a week.
They split their time between Sydney and a mammoth monolithic concrete farm in Melbourne.
“My daughter absolutely loves it,” she said. “She has a pony named Hazel and have two little baby cows whose mother abandoned them because she didn’t think she could take care of them,” she said.
“And my husband is an incredible man and he’s got a terrific story,” Halabi said.
Halabi is close friends with a number of high profile Sydneysiders including new mum Bella Hunter, Shayda Ibrahim, Laura Cathery, Ellie Aitken, Holly Candy and interior designer Alexia McGrath.
