Sydney Confidential Unleashed: Tammy Hembrow’s ex has rumour mill spinning

The rumour mill is spinning again, with whispers that Tammy Hembrow’s ex fiance, Reece Hawkins, may have a new love interest.

The rumour mill is spinning again, with whispers that Tammy Hembrow’s ex fiance, Reece Hawkins, may have a new love interest.

Hembrow and Hawkins, who share two children, Wolf, 10, and Saskia, 8, split in 2018.

While Hawkins is currently living it up in Bali, it seems he isn’t holidaying alone.

Confidential noticed the 30-year-old posting photos at the same time and location as Gold Coast-based wellness influencer Olivia Kelly.

Both shared an aesthetic snap of surfboards, and in Kelly’s pictures, Hawkins is clearly visible in the background, with his distinct neck tattoos giving him away.

The wellness influencer has been in Bali for the past week and boasts 107K Instagram followers, with most of her content centred on fitness.

Kelly, 24, previously dated AFL player Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, with the pair believed to have split in June 2024.

Neither Hawkins or Kelly have confirmed a relationship together.

Hawkins also shares another child, Stone, with American model London Goheen.

The pair secretly married in December 2020 while she was heavily pregnant, but split two years later.

In December 2023, the heavily tattooed model went public with OnlyFans star Ruby Burciaga.

It is unclear when the pair broke up.

The Bali buzz also comes just two weeks after Tammy Hembrow played a cheeky prank on Hawkins as part of a viral TikTok trend.

“Hey, I’m just calling to say goodnight,” Hembrow said during the call, catching Hawkins off guard.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“Can’t I just say goodnight to you? What do you mean? I’m the mother of your children. I can’t say goodnight? A friendly goodnight?”

Still confused, Hawkins asked again why she was calling.

“Goodnight, see you later,” Hembrow replied.

Hawkins didn’t return the sentiment and ended the call with an abrupt “Yeah all right, loser,” which sparked a laugh from Hembrow.

SAM KERR BEGINS WEDDING PREP

Wedding bells are ringing for Sam Kerr and fiancee Kristie Mewis.

The football power couple have officially begun planning their big day, with Mewis giving Instagram followers a glimpse into the process.

“Wedding dress shopping omg what help,” she wrote on Instagram.

The update comes just two months after the couple welcomed their first child, Jagger Mewis-Kerr.

Kerr, 31, and Mewis, 34, announced their pregnancy in November 2024, with Mewis carrying the baby.

The couple have been together since 2021 and got engaged in late 2023. They first crossed paths in 2019 during a National Women’s Soccer League tournament.

Mewis, an American international, plays for the US national team and as a midfielder for West Ham United in England’s Women’s Super League.

Kerr has captained the Australian national team since 2019.

She has been sidelined since an ACL injury in January 2024 but was cleared to return to leadership duties in March.

NETWORKING AT SPORT OF KINGS

Networking at the races. It’s as common as beaten favourites.

But the connections new Australian Turf Club chairman Tim Hale has fostered over the years make for interesting reading.

He got into the sport of kings via the “first lady of racing” Gai Waterhouse and her dad, the legendary trainer TJ Smith.

He knew Victorian Racing Club board member Vin Cox from their days as rugby referees. And he worked on legal issues for Liverpool Council when a bloke named Mark Latham was the mayor.

Mr Latham championed the appointment of Mr Hale as the ATC’s new chairman this week. Three years ago he also told the world via social media how he was “wandering along Macquarie St … to chat with the great Tim Hale”.

Ms Waterhouse, Mr Cox and Mr Latham were all key figures in the campaign to vote down plans to sell Rosehill racecourse for$5 billion. Mr Hale was also against the proposal.

In the wake of members declining to push forward with a deal, previous ATC chair Peter McGauran resigned, claiming it a “lost opportunity” for the industry.

PHANTOM STAR BEN LEWIS BATTLING CANCER

Acclaimed Australian actor Ben Lewis, best known for playing the Phantom in Love Never Dies and the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera, is facing the fight of his life after being diagnosed with incurable cancer.

In early 2024, the 45-year-old baritenor was diagnosed with bowel cancer.

The disease had already spread to his liver and lymph nodes by the time it was discovered.

Despite undergoing major surgery and rounds of intensive chemotherapy, the cancer has proven aggressive and resistant, spreading further to his lungs and pelvis.

Lewis, whose career has spanned Australia and the UK, has been his wife Melle’s full-time carer since she suffered a life-altering stroke in 2021, believed to be linked to the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

She spent nine months in hospital and continues to undergo rehabilitation.

Neither Lewis nor Melle have been able to work since her stroke, placing enormous financial pressure on the couple.

“Ben’s greatest concern is not for himself — it’s for Melle,” their families said. “We want to honour his devotion.”

MP’S ANNOUNCEMENT TOO FLAWLESS?

MP Ron Hoenig is looking remarkably smooth for a 72-year-old, so smooth it’s hard not to wonder if he’s discovered the digital version of the fountain of youth.

In a recent photo shared to mark a special family milestone, Hoenig is seen cradling his first granddaughter, Ariella, alongside his wife Christine.

“She’s growing more curious and delightful by the day. These are the moments that remind you what really matters,” he wrote.

It’s a sweet sentiment, but the image itself had Confidential doing a double take.

With softened skin, a near flawless complexion and even slightly blurred eyes, the photo has the kind of finish typically achieved with an airbrush or filter, not just good lighting.

Hoenig wouldn’t be the first public figure to take a cue from the Kardashians, or to possibly dabble in the wonders of AI.

‘AUTOGRAPH HUNTER’ FAILS TO THRILL

Which mid-level entertainment industry type has been banned from working with one of their companies high profile talent? Apparently said worker used to be an ‘autograph hunter’ and took their fandom too far. The talent in question was none too thrilled when this person joined the company and on discovering said worker was employed there, issued a decree that they were not to work with them under any circumstances.

WREXHAM MANIA BRINGS IN BIG DOLLARS

The Disney doco heroes from Wrexham football club were a massive hit – on and off the field – during their Down Under tour.

While selling over 100,000 tickets across three matches in Sydney, Melbourne and Wellington, the club co-owned by Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney also raked in more than $1 million from merchandise sales.

The club’s now famous red jersey sold out, and more than 10,000 scarfs were snapped up, many of them at Allianz Stadium where more than 40,000 fans watched Wrexham go down 2-1 to Sydney FC.

The one-time Welsh minnows, who have climbed from the fifth tier of the English competition to be just one step from the PremierLeague, have had their journey catalogued by the Welcome to Wrexham series which has turned the club into a global phenomenon.

SAM STOSUR WELCOMES SECOND CHILD

Australian tennis legend Samantha Stosur has welcomed her second child.

The 41-year-old retired professional player took to social media on Wednesday night to announce the new arrival with her partner Liz Astling.

“And beautiful chaos reigns once again,” she said in the caption.

“Welcome Emmeline Grace. Evil is beyond happy to have a little sister and we are over the moon.”

Alongside the shot of the sleeping newborn wrapped in a white and green star muslin cloth under a grey jersey blanket, the new mum revealed her daughter’s nickname.

“We love you so much little Emmy,” she said.

Stosur, who was the Australian team captain for the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup, announced her pregnancy in a social media post in April.

“Time to dust off the baby gear,” she wrote over footage of her putting a pram together to the 1991 Amy Grant song Baby Baby.

“We’re so excited for the new addition to our family,” she wrote, adding: “It’s my turn this time.”

Astling gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Genevieve (Evie for short), in 2020.

The family celebrated Evie’s fifth birthday last month, just weeks before their newest arrival made them a family of four.

Stosur and Astling reportedly met in 2015, when Astling reportedly worked as a physical therapist for Australia’s Fed Cup team – a competition since renamed to the Billie Jean King Cup.

They became a couple in 2016 but it wasn’t until 2019 the Newcombe Medal-winner went public with Astling.

‘CULT’ YOGHURT CHAIN DISAPPOINTS

It is the “cult” frozen yoghurt chain that’s taken over Australia, but this week Yo-Chi left thousands of customers confused and disappointed.

With 14 stores across Sydney, the brand may have taken its marketing a little too far, leaving many frozen yoghurt lovers feeling misled.

In a series of slick videos, Yo-Chi showcased rich chocolate swirls, indulgent toppings, and slow motion pours of chocolate froyo, prompting many to believe a new flavour was dropping.

For the effort they went to you would think it was a major collaboration.

Wrong.

Turns out, the highly teased Whittaker’s Coconut Slab is only part of this month’s topping collaboration, not a new froyo flavour.

Yo-chi recently confused their customers with their newest chocolate special. Picture: Instagram,

“We thought the Whittakers choc collab was going to be the yoghurt flavour not just the choc. Define heartbreak,” one frustrated TikTok user said.

Yo-Chi responded, “Sorry for the confusion … we honestly were too excited to have the chocolate blocks on our toppings bar that we went crazy with the marketing!”

Another unimpressed user wrote, “What a joke.”

Even a Yo-Chi staff member commented on the video.

The ad was so confusing I was thinking it could even be edible cups lmao.”

“I’m glad someone brought it up because I’m not happy about it!!”

“Heaps of people did! We got so many customers last night thinking it was a yoghurt flavour and I agree the marketing was super misleading.”

Others soon chimed in with the same concerns.

Following the backlash, the brand took to social media to “clear up any misunderstandings,” clarifying that “Special Chi” refers to the new topping, not a new flavour.
