CARISSA Walford has shut down rumours she was deported from the US.
Having flown to Los Angeles last week to give Hollywood a crack, the television presenter and model has been the subject of nasty suggestions she’s already back in Sydney because of being kicked out of the country by immigration officials.
“I wish I was that badass,” Walford told Confidential.
Her response came after Confidential received an email from an anonymous source claiming Walford had been detained at the border and interrogated before being sent home to Sydney for not having the required work visa.
“She uncharacteristically hasn’t posted a picture from the USA since she left,” the anonymous email read. “She is actually back because she was deported.”
Walford, who recently quit her job as a host on Channel V to move to the US, found the scuttlebut amusing.
She said she made it to Los Angeles for a couple of days before being booked for a major job for Witchery, which she shot on Saturday.
