BACHELOR favourite Brooke Blurton says she doesn’t want to be labelled bisexual after revealing she’s had relationships with two women.
The 23-year-old youth worker told Bachelor Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins she also dated a man for three years before becoming a contestant on the reality dating show.
“I don’t like to be categorised or put in a box or labelled,” Blurton told Confidential.

“I genuinely do like to get to know a person on a deeper level to know who they are and what they are about.
“At the end of the day I am me and this is who I am.”
Cummins, 30, commended Blurton for speaking her truth.
“We are just souls inhabiting a body trying to find our way … and we work out the direction we want to take in the end,” the former rugby player said in Wednesday night’s episode.
“And if you have worked out what direction that is … then it has absolutely no effect on me moving forward.
“I didn’t see this coming at all but it doesn’t worry me. Who am I to judge?”
There’s been rumours online for several weeks about Blurton’s sexuality but it was only this week that she told Cummins.
She said some online trolls had criticised her, questioning why she is on a dating show with a man when she’s also into women.
“It doesn’t bother me,” she said, adding that she is attracted to personality over looks.
“It is definitely how a person conducts themself.
“What is attractive is when someone is really comfortable with who they are and what they want to achieve and it is even more attractive if that motivation is helping others.
“Physical things come later for me but obviously if I am attracted to someone straight up, that is chemistry as well.
Blurton is not the first contestant to be attracted to both women and men. On a previous season, Megan Marx ended up in a six-month relationship with fellow contestant Tiffany Scanlon but Brooke said there’s no chance of that for her.
“I was more so attracted to Nick than girls in the house even though you do spend a lot of time with them,” she said.
“I was solely focused on Nick but I think all the girls are absolutely stunning and anyone would be lucky to have them, even the villains.”
