Braith Anasta reveals ex-wife Jodi ‘group texted’ him when she heard about his baby news

SOON-to-be new dad Braith Anasta has revealed his ex-wife Jodi Gordon was the first to congratulate him on news he was expecting his second child — via text message.

SOON-to-be new dad Braith Anasta has revealed his ex-wife Jodi Gordon was the first to congratulate him on news he was expecting his second child — via text message.

The Fox League commentator, 35, told Confidential yesterday that both their former partners, including girlfriend Rachael Lee’s ex, were supportive of their baby announcement.

But this morning on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show he revealed details about the first time Gordon caught wind of his baby news.

“(Jodi) is fine, everything’s good. She’s congratulated and Rachael’s ex husband was happy with it too,” he said on air.

“They see how we are with the kids, they see our dynamic and know the love and the lifestyle we give the kids — all good as far as we know.

“(The congratulations) seemed genuine to me.”

When asked whether it was a phone call or a text, Anasta quipped: “Nah it wasn’t a phone call.”

“It was just a text — it was a group text actually,” he added.

Lee has a seven-year-old son Addison and Anasta has daughter Aleeia with Gordon.

Yesterday, Anasta said no one was more excited for the impending arrival of his first child with Lee than his three-year-old daughter Aleeia.

“Rachael and I love kids,” Anasta told Confidential at the launch of Fox Leagues NRL Retro Round.

“We both have one of our own and now we’ve got a blended family, the four of us live together and we’re going to be adding another one to the clan so we’re really pumped.

“Aleeia’s really excited because she’s at that period where she loves babies. She walks around the house with dolls and is feeding them. She’s very proud.”
