Seal and Boy George clash on The Voice

WITH his time in Australia nearly over, UK pop star Boy George appears to have suppressed his well-known diva ways, but his antics have reared their head over recent days.

Confidential can reveal The Voice coach has shown off the precious ways he has become known for throughout his career of more than three decades.

Sources have detailed the Culture Club frontman pulled the diva card in several spectacular instances.

“George’s people have been very difficult to deal with; he has a lot of stipulations,” one source revealed.

“He has been the hardest celebrity to deal with that I have ever come across.”

Rules when meeting the 56-year-old Karma Chameleon singer are said to be strict.

Selfies are off limits and asking about his crazy past is a no-no.

There appears to have been a carefully orchestrated campaign to mend his image after Boy George’s spectacular fall from grace when he spent four months in jail for attacking model and escort Audun Carlsen.

Occasionally though, the diva Boy George has shone through.

He’s made no secret of his disdain for fellow coach Seal.

And popular radio host Chrissie Swan copped his wrath when, during an interview for her Nova Melbourne breakfast show, she brought up his history of substance abuse.

His well-documented troubles have been totally overlooked during The Voice, obviously given the show is targeting family viewers.

It is also understood the international star refused to do interviews with a number of magazines which would not meet his demands.

Confidential’s insiders revealed Boy George would not be interviewed or appear in shoots for glossy magazines if he was not guaranteed to be on the cover of the title.
