More than anything else, The White Lotus star Natasha Rothwell will feel a sense of relief when the show finally comes to an end.
Fans have been speculating for the past few months over who will die and who did it when the much anticipated season three finale airs on Monday.
Rothwell reprised her role as spa therapist Belinda in the series, having appeared in the first season that was based out of Hawaii.
This time round, The White Lotus is set in Thailand.
“I will feel a sense of unbelievable relief, I think just because I’ve been sitting with the secret of it all,” Rothwell told Confidential.
“But it is a turning of the page – it is sad, it is bittersweet because I have been on this journey with audiences reacting and watching them have the same reaction I had when I read the scripts.
“It feels a bit sort of, ‘okay, now what?’ But the beauty of what we do is it lives on these platforms forever and new people will find it and there will be all of these think pieces about the finale … I think it will still be in the air for a little bit because it is just special.”
Season three of The White Lotus is streaming now on Max and is also available on Foxtel and BINGE.
Rothwell, along with co-stars Leslie Bibb and Patrick Schwarzenegger are in town for the launch of Max in Australia and will walk the red carpet at Sydney’s State Theatre tonight.
She has “no idea” where a fourth season of Mike White’s cult favourite would be shot, although is keen for Belinda to return.
“If I survive, I told Mike season one I would follow him until the end of the earth,” she said.
“I am just happy to watch like season two but I can’t tell you.”
