Bachelor favourite Brooke walks away from Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins

SHE was tipped to walk away with the final rose and the man of her dreams, but Brooke Blurton has dumped Nick Cummins and is adamant on whether The Bachelor would ever get another chance.

The Bachelor Episode 15 Recap: Bye Bye Brooke

BACHELOR walkout Brooke Blurton is adamant she will not get back with Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins.

The 23-year-old youth worker dumped the former footy star on Wednesday’s episode of the show, leaving Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman in the running for the final rose.

While the preview of Thursday’s final episode and the ad currently running suggests Cummins wants Blurton to be in his final two, she made it clear to Confidential she had no intentions of going there.

“I haven’t spoken to him since the show,” she said.

“I obviously went as the third girl. There were still two girls there and I respect that his has chosen one and I respect that girl, so I wouldn't go there.”

Blurton said while she could have fallen in love with Cummins, it was impossible in The Bachelor environment.

“In time I could have fallen in love with him — at that time I wasn't in love with him, though,” she said.

“I need more time and consistency. I was pretty well developed in my feelings with Nick as those feelings were reciprocated. But he couldn’t give me that assurance.”

She said dating was not on the cards at the moment, and she was more interested in looking after herself.

A choked-up Cummins said he was heartbroken by Blurton’s departure, but understood her decision.

Many fans of the show have said the stunning brunette was meant to be the winner.

“This wasn’t part of my plan,” Cummins said as he put Blurton into a limo.

In a preview of Thursday’s finale, even the mopped-haired Bachelor’s parents were surprised that Blurton was not in the final two.

The final episode is being flagged as a “finale which will shock the nation”.

Rumours have been circulating for weeks that Cummins is now single. He is currently out of the country on a prearranged trek of the Kokoda Trail.
