HIS love life is up in the air, with millions waiting to see where his heart falls, but Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins has bailed just days before this week’s big Bachelor finale.

The former rugby international jetted out from Brisbane Airport on Sunday sporting a blue and black flannel shirt and hiking boots, bound for Papua New Guinea, while clutching a book about the Kokoda campaign.

When he is seen on-screen selecting his sweetheart from the remaining contestants on Thursday, Cummins will be incommunicado.

The finale is usually followed by an intensive 48-hour promotional blast by the newly loved-up couple.

But Cummins will be out of range walking the Kokoda Track for charity — sparking speculation he has already split from the woman who is believed to have won, Brittany Hockley — and wants to avoid the media.

Cummins is due back on October 11, and looks set to get over his camera shyness, with two appearances scheduled near his northern beaches home to spruik his new book, The Honey Badger Guide To Life.

Meanwhile, Hockley added to the mystery yesterday morning, posting a social media picture of herself with Cummins riding a camel and the caption: “Fun time hanging with this gentle giant.”
