HE’S one of the world’s top male models yet Jarrod Scott would prefer to fly under the radar than make a fuss.
The New York-based Aussie is listed in the top 10 of male models, up there with the likes of David Gandy, Sean O’Pry, Andres Velencoso, Matthew Terry and Justice Joslin.
His high end fashion campaigns have included Tom Ford, Chanel, Armani, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Givenchy and Jimmy Choo.
Face to face, Scott is softly spoken and understated.
“I just do my own thing,” Scott told Confidential as guest of honour at a lunch for Omega watches’ Deep Black collection at Quay restaurant.
“I’m not fazed by having my face in the spotlight 24/7.”
Scott is one of the few to have appeared on the cover of Vogue Hommes and was recently shot nude for Mariano Vivanco’s book, Portraits, Nudes, Flowers.
“As a kid I probably got labelled the pretty boy but I wasn’t really the popular kid,” he said. “I didn’t hang out with the cool kids and I did have the worst hairstyle choices throughout my high school years.”
For the record, Scott is single by choice.
“For me I can’t find anyone at this time who suits what I need so it is easier for me to stay single and just concentrate on my work,” he said.
