Aussie boy band 5 Seconds of Summer set to perform at ARIA Awards
HUGELY popular Aussie boy band 5 Seconds Of Summer will be heading home to perform at this year’s ARIA Awards alongside a fan-favourite British singer. They’re also up for a number of awards.
AUSSIE boy band 5 Seconds Of Summer are heading home to perform at this year’s ARIA Awards.
The group, who have smashed onto the international scene, is made up of best mates Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood.
The foursome are currently touring Europe, but will return home for Aussie music’s big night.
On top of performing at the event on November 28, the boys are up for a string of awards including best group, best pop release, song of the year and best Australian live act.

The band will perform their 2018 hit Youngblood, which was this year’s longest-running Australian No. 1 on the ARIA singles chart.
Posting a video on Instagram, the band said they were excited to be coming home for the ceremony and thanked their fans for the support throughout the year.
They will be just one of the acts performing on the night.
Chart-topping singer Rita Ora will also sing at Australian music’s biggest night at The Star event centre.
“I’m so excited to come to Australia. It is amazing to give my first-ever performance at the ARIAs, and spend the release week of my album in Oz.
“Thanks so much for having me at the ARIAs. I can’t wait. It is going to be good,” the British pop star told Confidential last week.
Keith Urban will host the night, which recognises our best talent in all music genres.
Amy Shark is among the other big nominees of the night, leading the charge with nine nominations.
